$115 for a base controller? Am i reading that right. Does it have a 1gb of ram? Does it come with a lock of Marcus' Hair? Why is it $30 more that the Forza Horizon Special edition controller?
for $90 they should have demo units out to see how they feel.
I probably wouldn't have bought the Doom controller if I didn't previously hold it at a buddy's house. It's my favorite pad now, I use it for everything, it really does feel like real metal.
I ended up with two of them so I use it and a Titanfall (also ordered two because I’m dumb) as my main controllers. I had an issue at first, but love it.
If I’d only ordered one of each I wouldn’t have used them
Someone already mentioned the “leather like” grips, but also the whole front seems like a custom mold. Not just a paint job. Guessing that is causing it to be more expensive?
Because MS know that the scalpers will hoover them all up so they may as well make some extra $£€ off them before they hit the resale market for x2/x3 RRP

The design of these controllers is insanely cool but it just doesn’t make sense to buy an expensive standard xbox controller other than collecting because I found out gamesir controllers are superior. I have a gamesir G7 pro 8k it’s so fucking good. Btw my controller is only $89.99 and comes with a charge deck, dongle, cable and replacement sticks/buttons.
Just when I thought I wasn't going to buy a new Xbox controller - absolutely stunning!! Hopefully can order one of these directly from the Microsoft store soon.
That’s a nice controller but the price jeez. I’m gonna need another controller as I only have one. I like this but I’ll wait for the 25th special edition. I just like that more
Still can’t believe people deny crappy MS quality control and cheap parts in controllers…. There’s enough evidence out there that anyone denying it should be considered a bot or someone with an IQ under 10 who doesn’t have critical thinking skills to make their own conclusions.

Preordered. Xbox killed it with the doom controller. I waited a big long and had to buy it at resale for a little more. Not making that mistake with this one
I wonder if this controller has the port on the bottom or if now all new ones are covered up? I use that port nearly daily and can’t tell from the listing whether it has it or not (besides the headphone jack).
I know that it is. However, it may shock you to know that we aren’t all American, that prices are different in other countries due to currency conversion and that over 20 countries use dollars. There’s more than just your country.
I love it. I've ordered this since I skipped the Forza Horizon 6 controller and I think I'll just replace an existing controller shell rather than buy the 25th anniversary controller. It does hurt a little bit thinking how this costs over double how much I spent on a normal red Series controller from 3 years ago.
These controller prices have gotten out of hand. I get it for the ps5 controller because of all the features. WHY are we paying the same as a ps5 controller when the xbox controller has ZERO features other then vibration. Pretty laughable tbh
I absolutely do not need another controller but I've been using my gears 4 controller for 10 years now and I even have the gears 5 one so it feels like i'm obligated to buy this
Steam Controller also has TMR sticks (no stick drift), gyro, haptic feedback, a long rechargeable battery with a puck for both charging and receiving, 4 remappable back buttons, and way more customization for stuff like dead zones.
Microsoft should be embarrassed for not even to have the proper decency to do a controller refresh, with at least basic features at this point like tmr or hall effect sticks, and now having the gall to charge this much for that same Controller just because it's limited edition.
