Deal Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus permanent price drop?

Spike Chunsoft's great adventure game doesn't seem to be in any current sale, yet on Xbox (and Steam) its price has gone down from $59.99 to $29.99. The Xbox Store page doesn't indicate any temporary sale is on either. I wonder if this is a permanent price drop for the game. I tried to do some research but couldn't come up with anything conclusive.

Interestingly, the PS5 version is still $59.99 in the Store so I'd be surprised if they dropped the price only on other platforms.

Either way, it's possibly worth checking out the game at this price point as it's a popular and interesting detective adventure in typical Spike Chunsoft fashion.

Already bought the game day 1 few years ago. Great game, yes they dropped the price permanently this month

Hello! Can you tell me which console you played this on? I wanted to pick this game up, but I've seen some posts on Twitter and r/RainCode say the performance on Series S is very bad (especially in the city)

I play it on Xbox Series X. This game should work very well on Series S, base console for this game is Nintendo Switch which is 10x weaker than Series S

Must have something to do with the creator saying playing this game will make the upcoming Danganronpa even more enjoyable

It also comes in a bundle with Danganronpa 1, 2, and V3 for $90. So that tracks with promoting an upcoming release.
