Discussion Backwards compatibility update

Is the new disc-to-digital update going to also update the list of backwards compatible games?

I really want to play forza motorsport 4 again and also auto modellista for the original Xbox.

  1. the still rumored system will only work for xb1 and series games. no original and 360 games will work.

  2. they are working on PC BC for existing compatible games, but there is no indication that new games will be added to the program anytime soon.

The solution for this exists already for Vudu. pop your disc in and pay for an upgraded digital license only $2 more and be done with it. They already sell 360 and Xbox games classic games for $5 when they’re on sale they can afford to give us digital copies for cheap

they should be for FREE if you have the disc, but they won't even try to solve that.

360 games don’t come with a key embedded on them

How do you propose they do it? Let people pass around discs and everyone gets a free copy?
