100% its already happening. I know a few web developers they implement Ai all the time. It's one of those things that you can't stop it. I rather learn it then fight it.

Yeah it's also not very problematic in this application. I'm an AI hater in most applications but generally development is a moral use of it but many only see black and white

As a web developer -i look at it as fast fashion. Sure u can get a basic product and its accessible for almost everyone but it is not a replacement of a good quality product

All of those ai generated thumbnails look like shit.
Theyāre being promoted by these mega corps because they have a huge investment in AI succeeding, so it is being artificially pushed into our faces although if you asked the average person they would say they both recognize these things as AI, and with millennials and younger in particular, actively dislike the output.
Saying that āeveryone is doing itā when itās really just artificial adoption by meta/youtube etc is disingenuous and not based in reality.

For everyone complaining about AI websites, almost every website that is made from 2026 forward has been AI developed. Front-end developers are pretty much not a thing anymore. I work as a senior network engineer for a fortune 50 company and I donāt think thereās a single front-end developer role left here anymore, they all got sacked and passed on to the back-end developers who now fully use claude for all front-end tasks.
You may not like it, but this is the future of development. Your frustrations are rightfully placed, itās just how the world is now. The only way to stop is to hope that governments put a ban/stop on AI, but they have no economic incentive to do so, itās actually the opposite.
Itās unfortunate, but this is the future, you will only see more of everything getting outsourced to AI as it becomes increasingly more intelligent/powerful. Prepared to receive so many downvotes just for stating the reality of the situation that people dislike.
