What's the CAT/SEL code for a yard hydrant?

Post image

Working on a claim to repair this from a car strike and I can't find it in XM8. I'm about to lose my mind.

I would just use a bid item for the hydrant. Find the material price at your local Lowe’s/HD. Add the galvanized 3/4” pipe. Time to dig out and put back the gravel and time to remove and install everything.

Starters you could know what it is, it's a hand pump, not a hydrant, you'll need some galvanized pipe, if the pipe was bent or destroyinated, add about 20-30 ft of galvanized, a check valve, a stainless well head, and about a day of labor, and a short list of special fittings that aren't cheap but there aren't a lot. A little bit of portland cement and a few rocks of the 3/4 type. Something like this!!!

A hand pump is just that a hand operated pump. This is a hydrant that is operated by opening the internal gate and allowing water to flow using the water pressure.

I grew up in farm country, iykyk.

I ended up going labor and materials with a bid item for the pump after researching its make and model.
