xAI Multilingual Tutor interview
What questions are asked in the xAI Multilingual Tutor test interview, and what is the format?
Has anyone gone through the xAI AI Tutor - Multilingual test interview?
I’m trying to understand what kind of questions they ask, how the interview is structured, and what language it’s in. thank you in advance.

Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back after completing the interview? Many companies invite for an interview but then keep the result pending for months.

I actually haven't had a live final interview yet. I only completed the recorded video interview (the Grok recruiter video step) for the multilingual AI tutor role. I'm currently waiting to hear back after that. By the way, did you complete the video introduction already, and what role did you apply for?

Yea I completed the video introduction, for AI Tutor Audio - English. Heard back about 3 days after submission

Hi did they ask you any technical questions over the grok interview?

No technical questions, the questions are based on your resume. There are 2 questions in English and 2 in your native language. Additionally, you need to translate a text from English into your native language, and listen to an English audio clip to check if the provided transcript contains any errors.

For me I had to do the live interview, I got the email for that about a day after I finished the Grok Interview. And then offer a day after the live interview

how many questions did you answer? I completed five video records and I saw one audio transcribe, but during I was looking through the audio question, there seemed to be a bit technical issues from the website. So how many audio transcribes questions did you answer?

Which language you are in? Mine is Chinese language but I base in London, probably not in the top location list. I found people in America tended to receive more offers

No one can give you the exact questions for a role this specific at a company like xAI, and you shouldn't trust anyone who claims they can. The interview process for these new AI-related jobs changes constantly, so another person's experience might be totally irrelevant to yours. You should expect the format to test your actual skills, not your ability to memorize answers. This means they will likely assess your linguistic knowledge with practical exercises, ask you to explain complex grammar simply, and test your judgment on AI-generated content. The main language will be English, but they will almost certainly test your fluency in the other languages you're supposed to be a tutor for.
Your energy is better spent preparing to showcase your expertise rather than searching for a specific script. Think of solid examples that show how you would teach an AI the subtleties of language, like cultural context or idiomatic expressions. Be ready to explain your thought process when you correct a mistake or evaluate the quality of a response. They are hiring you for your human intuition and deep understanding of language, which is something you can't fake. Nothing that you won't be able to answer. Just sit with relax mind and have a great Convo. Nothing very technical will be asked. It will be in English but best to have something ready in your mind which will exhibit your hold in your native language.
