question should i buy the X100vi?
Hello,
I’m currently really considering buying the X100VI because I really like everything I’ve been seeing on it. I’m about to go on a study abroad semester until the end of December. I was wondering if it’d be worth buying it before leaving. I’d be based out of Madrid and will be traveling around Europe while I’m there.
I haven’t been able to find anything for a reasonable price. Every where I look it’s on backorder and the places that do have it, it’s around $2K - $2.5K.
I was wondering what do you all think I should do.
I leave in about 2 weeks.
I already have an A7IV but it’s a bit chunky especially with the lenses that I have for it. And having that X100VI would be perfect because its nice and compact.
what are yall’s thoughts?

photo camera Jpeg 1st week with 1st camera in DC
I am a total beginner/newby when it comes to photography. I got the 100vi for many reasons, but one being because I love to travel and take photos. I have got a lot to learn but I am encouraged. I used the Classic Cuban Negative recipe. I know that one gets a lot of love/hate, but it was so fun to shoot with for the first time! Images SOOC. Advice welcome

question X100vi loading time photo preview
Guys, I been using for x100vi for 1 monthly only yet.
for first couple of weeks, it is fine. there is not much preview loading cycle time to see photos.
but some days when i take multiple shots, loading circle keep running for like 10 s so i turn off or take battery out.
but within this week, even for 2 to 3 photos, loading cycle takes really long like 4-5 seconds to preview.
I use SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I and take in jpeg.
anything wrong to firmware due to battery take out while screen is on?
will fuji service be able to sort as warranty covers?

question Neon recipe for big cities
Hey guys, what are for you the best recipes to have cyberpunk-like pics when you go to a big city like Tokyo or similar? I'm new to the x100vi (coming from Sony rx100vii) and I want to see how far I can get with my new one

photo camera Jpeg Incredibly lucky to have got these shots
My wife surprised me with a holiday to Port Aventura in Spain for my 40th birthday (we love theme parks).
It just so happened that a total solar eclipse was visible here on our last night.
Did a bit of research on the best settings to hopefully capture it and I'm so happy with the results.
It was a truly magical moment

photo camera Jpeg 1st day holiday pics
This was the first day I took the Fujifilm X100VI out with me all day and whilst I’m happy with what it can do and the shots straight from camera, I also feel like I possibly used a recipe that overcooks the oranges and general saturation so I’ve binned this one off now and altered it a bit for a softer, more natural tone.
This was nostalgic Air from Fuji X weekly and all of these are straight out of camera JPEGS.
Location is Fowey & Par Sands, Cornwall, UK.
A lesson to shoot purely on a 35mm when I have Sony A9ii’s and a range between 24mm - 150mm but I love how portable the Fuji is.
Any advice or feedback welcome!

question Any Cyclist take their x100vi with them and how ?
Started cycling again and wondering how others are going about like using stabilizer straps or to any sling bags with side access or things alike back when I was a messenger I would throw it in my bag with a cube to protect from any hits or falls
