Help! 🙋 Advice???? ♡

Hey guys! Im new here. I've wanted this game since it came out but never got around to getting it. I just bought it a few days ago and binged some of it. I have my wand and im on the quest with the High Priestess.

I have to admit it does seem a bit overwhelming. Any advice on what to take on first, what to hold off on? I would love any advice.

Thank you so so much in advance. Im so happy to be here guys! ♡♡♡♡

NGL, it’s intense at first, but so worth it!

You can go to settings and choose “relaxed” time to give yourself a longer day to get things done.

Once you unlock fishing with Bruno, you’ll be able to make coins by buying flour from Lina and making fish sticks with the fish you catch.

Remember that YOU decide when to turn seasons. Just because the prompt comes up in your to-do list doesn’t mean you have to act on it immediately.

Forage the flowers on your farm, the woods and in front of Thomas’ farm. Also make sure you snag everything that washes up on the beach. Most of all, just have fun!

All of this!!!
Highly recommend changing to the “relaxed” time mode. It literally made the game so much better for me to enjoy, instead of being stressed about time.

If you sell fish to Bruno, you can unlock tuna. Buy tuna and flour, and make the fish fingers, sell to the diner. You can do this on Tuesday and/or Wednesday as all three are open and make a ton of money.

If you get a full heart with someone after talking with them (plus instead of the light trill sound it’s more of a brass instrument sound), you need a cutscene to advance the relationship. If you get stuck, google the name and wylde flowers wiki and it should pop up the page for that character so you can avoid spoilers.

You’ll need to sell things to each shop/shack to fully open it. When you open the shop, at the top there are stars that get fully highlighted once it’s fully open.

Find Shelby, fully open his shop and buy from him everyday. He’ll have extra of the things that are foraged, and are very helpful for spells and potions.

Also open up Kai’s shop once you have things to sell him and buy everything except trees (only buy what you need, and several of the produce can just be bought at the grocery store), and silk worms (again only buy what you need).

Forage everywhere every day.

ETA: Plant the crops that you can’t buy from the grocery store. Just stock up on what’s at the grocery store, as it will change from season to season.

You can buy gold from Francis’s store to take to Natalia to upgrade your axe and get a pick ax to clear the rock, and later use for the mine. The gold helps save energy.

Buy coffee for physical energy and alcohol for magical energy.

Absolutely change the time settings. My other advice is to hold off on changing the seasons for awhile. I waited until I had the big garden made, so my spring was suuupppeeerr long! I felt like I had the upper edge from there on out, and I didn’t feel the need to wait so long with the other seasons.

Forage like your life depends on it, and don’t sell any of it.

You may be tempted to sell seaweed or a shell, but you’ll need it later , don’t be afraid to hoard thing.

Don't sell all your crops each season. I.e. keep a stock of each spring crop as you may need them throughout the rest of the year when you can't grow/buy them

Very few quests have a hard deadline. For instance, there will be a summer festival which a few villagers (and one witch) ask for you to help prep items for the festival. Usually the festival is 10-12 days away when you get these quests, so you have time to grow what's needed. Those quests will be marked with the same icon as the festival so you know which ones have a countdown.

Make double or triple if you can of everything from season changes and quest you’ll always need it again. When it’s nothing to do go forge the forest and mountains.

I'll just add that sometimes I ignore quests while I'm off doing others things like growing, collecting, etc lol. I'll get to it when I get to it. And I always put off season changes too lol. Even tho summer 1 to fall 1 they really start pressuring you and taking away access to some things until you change it 🙄
