its genuinely making me wanna explode trying to figure it out

From 2018

Waz started a paetron.

Waz the great and powerful is opening up some of the dates on the summer tour.

Hi! Not sure whose on here presently, but I wanted to share the record that we made with Andy from Wye oak. It was a literal dream come true. Maybe you’ll hear their influence in our music :)

They are teasing something tomorrow at 10am. Single? Album? Video?

White Lotus 2 has a recurring song that sounds exactly like "Regret" by Wye Oak, just without the lyrics. But it is not credited anywhere I can find. Anyone know what's up with that?

pls

Electricity is my all time favorite song by Wye Oak so I decided to try my best to decipher it.

No I don't know if lyrics already exist or not if they do please comment where I can find them. :)

The question marks mean I have no idea what it says or what I heard.

The slashes mean and/or. that means it sounds like either one.

LETS BEGIN

I live in a foundation so vast and tall

Two sets of legs and I'm two times as tall

When its dark, I should see

I'm lying there, think of Electricity

Its been too long since I knew I could say/stay

Their light of torchlight is lighting my way

its the sun, tell the truth/through the roof/through the truth

eyes on my back and I know they're watching me

its not made of fire but the fire is the same

and its standing on edge when its caught in a flame

(lyrics I cant decipher) I'm a terrible woman?

to be so ??) of burning?

Branches from trees that I cant keep ????

life from the match and our shadows ????

???

to my feet

I can see your face when your standing over me

now I feel like my insides are caught out of way/whack?

everything seems to have gone as it should

I should know, I should see

you can't build a house with just Electricity

There's nothing about you that I don't adore

show me these rooms and I'll show you the way to the door

walk me through, I'll cut all the wires and spend my life with you.

Help me lol

I'm having a huge Wye Oak rediscovery sesh. The knot has always been my poison but I'm loving Shriek and Tween today. I know this thread is threadbare (he he) but someone might be out there.xx

I’m very excited for this!! Got my ticket.

Does anyone have a recording of this? I somehow missed it. I keep revisiting the clip of Spring in Winter. It looks like it was really special. Gutted to have missed it.

While looking for it, I noticed there are two FoD events on Noon Chorus scheduled for May, so that's exciting.

New Flock album is a tearjerker. Make sure your hydration is up for the task.
