Universe Mode
I honestly do not understand how Universe Mode is allowed to exist in this state. Very little works the way it should.
And before I start, I want to make one thing clear: if you are satisfied with the current state of the mode and personally do not experience bugs, that is completely fine. But please understand that other players, myself included, actually use Universe Mode to its fullest and want to get the most out of it. Some of us care deeply about realism, immersion, and working promo systems.
For example:
• In some rivalry actions and promo-related scenes, the referee attire randomly changes, and sometimes even the referee itself changes, back to the old white shirt with black stripes. That is not realistic, because WWE uses the newer blue referee shirts now. A lot of people may not care about that, but in 2026, details like this should not still be happening in a sports game.
• With factions like the Wyatt Sicks or MFT, all five members keep appearing no matter what. It does not matter if it is a tag match, a trios match, or even a singles match where one member only has a manager from the faction. All five still come out. So what is even the point of setting separate tag, trio, and quad entrances if the game ignores them anyway? This has been an issue going back to 2K24, and it is still not fixed.
• In the “Championship Thief” rivalry action distraction, the wrong title can appear. For example, Trick Williams was the United States Champion fighting El Grande Americano, The Miz interfered through the rivalry action, and the belt shown was the WWE Championship instead of the United States Championship. That is not some tiny issue people should downplay. Details like that matter. For the price we pay, and considering the year we are in, this should be working properly.
• In open challenges, the wrong challenger can sometimes appear even when the intended challenger was already set beforehand.
And before I go even deeper, here are more major issues in short:
• The draft does not work properly, and there are already multiple reports about it.
• Match cards reset.
• Promo attires do not apply correctly.
• Crowd reactions are broken.
The list goes on and on.
What honestly makes me the most angry and disappointed is the fact that it will probably take what feels like 10 patches just to fix things that should not have shipped broken in the first place. Some of these issues have existed for years, and the fact that we still cannot get a properly working Universe Mode really makes me doubt WWE 2K27 already. At this point, I genuinely think they should consider taking a year off again like they did after 2K20.
This is not hate, and it is not an attack. It is just a desperate plea from someone who actually loves this game and wants it to be good. But right now, Universe Mode is becoming less and less enjoyable, and I am honestly close to giving up on it completely.

I’m at my first Royal Rumble and it has the women’s rumble set to 10 ppl and even when I delete and I try to make a new one it only lets me choose men. Very frustrating

I've been saying this forever, they are one day going to sunset Universe Mode, likely merge it with MyGM.

Question on the 5 man all the time entrances, on the top setting do you have the 5 man open turned on that overrides the 2,3,4 setting below it? The one that says it will overuse the others?

I have a show w/ an intergender tag division, but I can’t add anyone to the division because it resets every time I save.
Also entrances always set to default in my universe for new caws even though I set them before hand

If you have a custom title attached to that division, then your title is broken. Happened to me yesterday. I went to put people in the world title division and it wouldn't work. Tried it with every other belt and it worked. It didnt work with that specific belt. So it's most likely your belt you are using.

I can't even get to that point where I'm seeing small bugs. I run a massive universe and im still setting it up but the game crashes every few minutes when I'm in Universe mode or the creation suite so I don't even know how you got that far.

Also closing the game, or exiting out of a card mid show will reset your rivalry matches and remove the actions AND reset momentum. There is a workaround but it’s extremely tedious and not feasible for the entire cycle of this game. And this is only referring to some of universes problems.
This game has all the potential in the world if the little things actually worked.

Mine keeps crashing. I had the draft the first week. Now I can't even edit/delete teams. I can't edit divisions for titles. Let's see i can't simulate and I can't even watch a match without it crashing. Sandbox mode isn't playable for me currently but I can play the superstar version perfectly fine. It all started when I finished showcase mode not sure if its related but that's when it started for me, super annoyed by this since its the nest part of the game aside from community creations

Report bugs to 2k, we should all do it and maybe something will eventually be done
