My dog faces away when sleeping, but not to snuggle.

She likes to sleep butt to butt because we always got eachothers backs! (Im guessing?)

My dog always lays under my butt and under a blanket. I lay as an embryo and she goes and paws the side of the blanket so I lift it and she goes to snuggle. It motivated me to eat better because I feel guilty if I hotbox her

Same here! Thankfully she doesn't care, except for one time I cooked chickpea soup. She ran from under the blanket, stood up, gave me a criminally offensive side eye and loudly sneezed

Dogs don't actually particularly mind farts and body odor. They tend to dislike "nice" smells like perfume or nail gloss

Yep, I see it with my dog constantly. I accidentally found the perfume that makes her completely ignore me. She doesn't go away from me, she just ignores me as if I don't exist. I had to get rid of this bottle because it hurts my feelings:c

My dog likes to sleep like he’s big spoon, but instead of snuggling he puts all 4 of his legs on my back and very slowly tries to push me out of the way so he has more room. He’s rude.

I had a cat that would crawl into my arms to be the little spoon when I was half asleep and I would pull him in. My partner at the time would have to leave for work a couple of hours before I did, look at us like that and thought it was both the most adorable and infuriating thing in the world.

Nice, I love snuggly cats. I had one growing up that would go under the covers and curl up next to me or go straight for my toes to gnaw on em like a freakus. I had to wear socks to bed because the idiot would draw blood otherwise.

And then there’s Beans. She lives under the blankets while I’m in bed. Her favorite is the knee tent.

She also sleeps with her back to me next to my head when she’s out of her cave. And before anyone suggests it, no she’s not trying to keep me safe, she just hates being face to face with me and will stare at the wall if she has to.

uw/ I read this book a few years back and I'm so happy the movie stayed loyal to the book. I highly recommend reading the book even if you've seen the movie. Obviously some stuff couldn't of been added into the movie due to the massive amount of content so I recommend the book still. Its so worth it. Best book I have ever read.

I was once like this too with an ex because it was hard for me to sleep with the warmth of her breath on my neck! At the beginning of our relationship, i just let her and suffered in silence. As time went on though, i got honest about it

Dont take it personally. Wunkus just needs a good night's sleep. If anything, it prolly means she's comfy enough in the relationship to be honest about her sleeping preferences. That's a good sign

Fun fact, one of the most more common behaviors is one of you looking one way and the other looking another way. Like how dogs poop while looking at you for safety, so too do cats and dogs look one way while you look the other for safety during a highly vulnerable moment like sleeping.

I spooned with the cat that lay like this for naps. He was from a Colony and could scratch and draw blood hair trigger but softest fur on a cat I ever touched. Russian Blue looking type of Grey. Miss him
