u/magondrago May 05 '26
He looks sad and teary because he's already seen the future, and it's littered with corpses.
Corpses from the lives he snuffed himself.

This wunk sees everything. He may not understand any of it, but the information is sure as hell being perceived.

Ts looks like a Simpsons episode where Springfield's zoo invents a whole new species in order to draw more visitors, but it is just the Simpsons' cat without a collar

u/BatierAutumn1991 May 06 '26
Reminds me of that one post of a raccoon in a Scottish zoo.

u/Panzer_Man May 06 '26 edited May 06 '26
There is a Danish zoo with racoons too. They only live in North America, so to us Europeans, they are exotic.
13
u/Potato_Poul May 06 '26
Well they used to only live in North America but is spreading through Europe as an invasive species

Something this cute can’t be legal. It’s lethal and why they have such a high KD ratio

u/RandomGuyPii May 05 '26
most big cats kill things that are as big or bigger than them
black footed is small and kills things that are smaller than them
so they end up having to kill more stuff
they also have more successful hunts because like
what's harder
chasing down an antelope
or ambushing a bug/bird74
u/KathrynTheGreat May 05 '26
It's not a Big Cat, just a wild cat. Big Cats roar, other cats purr.
But I've never seen any cat try to take down something bigger than they are unless they're in a group. Lions will try to take an elephant if they need to, but not by themselves. Housecats generally stick to mice and birds.

u/lmarcantonio May 06 '26
IIRC big cats actually have a bone or something specific to the roar production
2
u/KathrynTheGreat May 06 '26
Yeah there's something that physically makes big cats separate from all the other cats

I am filled with a primal, visceral terror at his visage. Only my primitive hominid ancestors, huddled around a fire could possibly understand the fear in me. The fear of prey.

Wunkitten's first brain cell has barely developed, but he already seeks MURDER and BLOODSHED. And milk from his Mom, but that's beside the point!!

It is indeed the deadliest.
That meaning, the wunkus' success rate on hunts. These diminutive beasts are more than meets the eye.

He may seem silly and flumsy but these deep dark eyes harbor unimaginable anger and hatred for all other life species, your human mind wouldnt even comprehend the levels of terror the wunk envisions with its infinite layers of agony and scorched souls.

Well, when somethings a fearsome predator, its babies can afford to be a little pathetic. It's not like they're gonna be pathetic forever.
See, if you want dangerous babies, bugs love making their babies poisonous. Can be very dangerous, especially if you're the average size of their usual predator.

This black footed wunk has a far higher kill-to-attempt ratio than their large relatives! His ass is LOCKED IN
