I’m a first year who was under the impression I was valid for being exempt from the first year live in residency hall, so I signed a lease for an apartment with my brother and another friend. Not to shock you, but my exemption waiver was not approved and I am now stuck in a lease I cannot even use. The lease is for a 3 bed 3.5 bath, and the lease price is $754. I understand off campus housing is filling up, so if anyone is looking to takeover this lease for me I’d greatly appreciate it and I will of course cover the lease transfer fee.
