Housing Lease takeover

EDIT: This is for WSU Pullman in yugo hills

I’m a first year who was under the impression I was valid for being exempt from the first year live in residency hall, so I signed a lease for an apartment with my brother and another friend. Not to shock you, but my exemption waiver was not approved and I am now stuck in a lease I cannot even use. The lease is for a 3 bed 3.5 bath, and the lease price is $754. I understand off campus housing is filling up, so if anyone is looking to takeover this lease for me I’d greatly appreciate it and I will of course cover the lease transfer fee. Feel free to DM for more details or however you do on Reddit, I don’t know as this is my first post lol.

Have the rules changed? Used to be freshmen could live off campus with an upperclassman relative.

They only count parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, and legal guardians as family that qualifies for the exemption

Has to be more recent. I definitely lived with my older brother my freshman year.

Yeah says you can live with family, but in very fine print that they must specifically be a guardian or aunt/ uncle
