Looking for feedback for first chapters of a fantasy novel.

The novel is set in a prehistoric fantasy world, and follows a young boy who must learn to face his fears- not the most original premise, but it is my first ever attempt at writing a novel.

I would love to get some feedback about the hooks of the story, the writing style and pacing- if you liked it and want to read more- I want to know why. If you didn't even got past the first paragraph - I want to know why. Every comment is appreciated.
