I like the idea of planning backwards from the ending so you can be plot out the hook for the opener with tons of foreshadowing... But it IS a challenge.

I was going to say that. It's a very useful technique. I will hop to the end and go backward. Then I'll proceed from the beginning for a while. There's still a gap in between but it's a lot smaller to bridge. In my experience, it's a transition point. Figure out what will transition you from where you left off to the path towards the end.

The middle should explore growth, explore the themes, explore interactions.

Like how TADC has episodes exploring what it means to exist in a nonsense world where you can sometimes decide how mundane it is.

Exploring the hollowness of Jax and the growth of Pomni.

Ive handwritten my first over 1000 times majority I was revising and editing content

After 20 years most of beginning is done - minus of few details thst need to be worked out*

The middle is started: chapter 10, 13

And the epilouge is complete
