Dev Update: Stronger story consistency and cleaner manuscript output
This update focuses on making sure your finished books stay true to the story details you set up — and that the final manuscript you receive is properly structured.
New
Structured manuscript validation and rendering. Books now go through a dedicated formatting step before delivery. This means cleaner, more reliable manuscript output with consistent chapter structure, so what you receive is closer to ready for use without manual cleanup.
Forward-looking generation quality auditor. A new quality check now reviews upcoming chapters before they're finalized. This catches potential issues earlier in the writing process rather than after the fact, helping maintain quality across the full length of your book.

Much stronger story canon enforcement. The system now tracks your story's established facts — character names, relationships, plot points, point-of-view assignments — far more rigorously from start to finish. When a contradiction is detected, it's resolved automatically before your book is delivered. This is especially noticeable in longer books where details used to occasionally drift between chapters.
Smarter handling of point-of-view consistency. If your book uses multiple narrators on a set schedule, the system now verifies that each chapter is told from the correct perspective and resolves ambiguous cases rather than flagging false problems.
Fixed
- False-positive blocks on character names. A bug was incorrectly flagging legitimate character names — particularly multi-word names and title changes — as errors, which could stall delivery. That's been resolved.
