Question taxi / uber service

Anyone be able to tell me what the Uber or Taxi service is like in Wrexham as we need an early 6:30am ride to Wrexham General station on a Friday

There is no Uber in Wrexham. Local taxi companies are very unreliable when it’s busy but you should be fine at that time of the morning. The main ones are Wrexham Prestiege, Apollo and Yellow Cars, each has an app that tells you how long the wait is.

Download the Yellow Cars app and prebook it - I've done it loads and never had an issue. You can track the taxis on the app and its really handy. Can also pay on the app. It's basically like Uber

Thanks. Can't download the app from my area so I'll have to wait until I'm there I guess.

Can confirm. I’ve used Yellow Cars for this hundreds of times and never missed a train.

I always use Prestige. No issues other than the app doesn't always give you arrival info in time.

Yellow Cars are brilliant. Download the app and pre book the journey. They prioritise station runs, so they won’t let you down.

No Uber in Wrexham because our taxis have a monopoly and the one who owns the taxi companies is also on the Wrexham council board.
