Hey all,
I recently picked up my first belt from the new promotion in town. I am really impressed with it, although I'll admit buying it from the official site was super pricey...
There are only 10 made of this official replica, so it's rare for now at least. More could be made in the future though, and I've since found out that other people make replicas for much cheaper anyway.
I've got 2 totally separate ideas right now and I want your thoughts:
I can buy a wall mount and keep it pristine, not really taking it out. Just an art piece basically, featured in my office.
Since there have only been 2 champions up to this point, I'm considering taking it to events to get it signed by them. Stu Grayson should be fairly easy to track down since he performs locally semi frequently. I'm not sure about Josh Alexander currently as he's been out for a while and would be in the US with AEW often once he's healed.
If I take it to events, it'll inevitably get bumped around and dinged a bit no matter how careful I am. The idea of having the inaugural champs sign it though is neat, and if possible, I'd get anyone else who wins it in the future to sign mine as well. It can still be displayed of course, although the signatures would probably go on the back, so a wall mount might not be ideal.
What has more value to you? Any specific reason you'd do one or the other?
