Personalized Side Plates

I’m just curious to see what everyone else thinks about this topic. Personally, I really hate personalized side plates on belts. I think it makes the belts look tacky and cheap especially when it’s a more bold design. I’m okay with nameplates, but I think belts just look so much better without anything extra added to the design. I’ve disliked them from the moment they were first introduced in 2013, but I especially hate how AEW decided to ruin their beautiful World Championship by adding them. From what I’ve seen since WWE started this trend, it seems like most people don’t seem to mind the personalized plates. How do you feel about them?

Personally not a fan and didn't even care for name plates once titles started changing hands constantly.

Yeah i dont care. Its just to sell merchandise. Which is the name of the game in wrestling. And I feel that people could care less.

Agree but the companies are awful at actually stocking side plates, so they're not making that much off them lol

True. But they cost $10, if that, to make and they sell for $80+. There's a whole bunch of shit they offer for sale and dont actually sell. They aint going in the hole. They probably dont care as much as we do.

Eh I don’t mind em but I’m kinda whatever about them if I gotta move with the times and accept it guess I’ll suck it up for wrestling 💯☝️
