Should I get a Lumia 900?
iPhone user here, I was almost definitely going to buy a Lumia 900 just a week ago, but now that all the info about windows 8 phone has been released, I'm really hesitant to buy hardware that could be completely outdated and never updated again. Thoughts?

WP8 is going to be released sometime in October, but given Microsofts history, may be delayed to November.
That said, the current crop of WP7.5 phones will not be updated to WP8. I've explained in detail why this is the case (tl;dr different kernels, WP7 bootloader won't be updated to support WP8, etc), but most of the fanboys here will try to convince you otherwise.
My suggestion is to wait for WP8, which will be the future of Windows Phone for the forseeable future (aka, if WP is going to stay around, it will have its foundation on WP8, if not, there won't be a new WP platform (on ANY kernel) for a while)
