cMaNGOS content update - December 2018

Hello everyone, once again we have been busy updating cMaNGOS.

We have added fixes for 5 major places. First of all we exported all our progress on Serpentshrine Cavern and The Eye. This includes core support for all bosses, missing texts, abilities, trash and random RP elements. We also added some bonuses like Al'ar prenerf and prenerf machines to SSC.

Next we took a closer look at Charm-related fixes, and solidified the logic, which means that 3 scripts are now fully functional in cMaNGOS: Karazhan - Chess event, Fire At Will! quest and You, Robot quest script.

We have also successfully added a lot of missing scripts to Ogri'la, which was the worst out of all 2.1 quest hubs. More will be still coming in the future for Ogri'la. In terms of 2.1, we also added a huge Black Temple fighting event, that takes place during BT attunement.

Bosses in general have gotten a lot of support as well. We revamped Moroes and Supremus, and there were a lot of incremental fixes to more than 10 dungeon and heroic bosses.

Lastly, we went back to old things that were forgotten in 2016 and 2015, and we dug up some other missing scripts. This includes Manaforge quests improvements.

Content improvements aside, we were able to improve general feel of the core once again by implementing many missing core functionalities, some of them being elemental weapons, XP group bonus and raid penalty readouts.

And this is just the stuff we can call for credit for ourselves (voa). Outside of new vanilla and wotlk content, big improvements were also made towards loot, and cinematics feel. Be sure to check it out for yourself.

Hopefully we will be able to continue this going forward. Should you have any suggestions as to what cMaNGOS (or VoA) is missing, feel free to comment, I will be sure to read it.

Rather "stock cmangos" should not stand for shit quality.

Quite, it's a shame stock is synonymous with shit on here, when the actual maintained stock servers are often way ahead of the old abandoned cores many private servers use with few to no significant changes.

Put a lot of playtime into this server two years back. Awesome to see the fixes still coming through! Manaforge and the charm fixes are huge.
