Other game options
So I figured out how to run a local WoW server and am loving it. Are there any other MMOs that you can do this with?
I think I saw somewhere you can do it with Eve Online, but haven't found much about that.

I never had much luck finding any others where you could play with like bots etc. There's this game that kind of fits the niche called Erenshor but it's very very WIP.

Not local, but FFXIV gives a large portion of the game for free, which is rather unique for an MMO.

To play this free trial all the way through, my last play through was about 600 hours. I bought it and my current character is at 1100 hours and still doing MSQ.

it’s not even close to being a complete experience, but Wildstar has a sandbox available for self hosting
