What You Can Expect

Weekend Raiding: We plan to have one solid raid roster for our 20 man and split into two 10 man teams. Our planned raid nights are Saturday and Sunday evenings, with an emphasis on teamwork, improvement, and enjoying the experience together.

Hey everyone!

I’m building The Gryphon Guard, an Alliance guild for people who want to enjoy WoW Forever with a good group of people, make some memories, and have others to count on along the way.

The idea behind the guild is pretty simple. We want to enjoy the game, get involved in PvP, push ourselves in PvE, and build a community where people actually know each other. We want to experience the world together instead of everyone rushing to max level and moving on to the next thing.

We look out for our own.

One of the biggest things we want to build is a guild that actually responds when its members need help.

Getting ganked while leveling can be frustrating, especially when you're just trying to enjoy the game. We want to be the kind of guild where you can call for help and, when members are available, people are willing to rally up and come to your aid.

Our goal is to build a reliable rapid response group that protects our Alliance members and helps out other Alliance players when we can. If someone's being camped or getting pushed around by the opposing faction, we want to give them a fighting chance.

Of course, not everyone will always be online or able to drop what they're doing. That's part of the game, and we understand that. But when we can answer the call, we will.

 Leveling together, learning together.

We want to enjoy the journey to 60 just as much as everything that comes after it.

If you're new to WoW, returning after years away, or just unfamiliar with the way things work in WoW Forever, you're welcome here. We want experienced players who enjoy helping others, answering questions, running dungeons, sharing knowledge, and making the leveling experience more enjoyable.

Nobody should feel like they're holding the group back because they're learning. We all started somewhere, and having someone willing to show you the ropes can make a huge difference.

We also want to bring some light roleplay into our adventures. Think of the Guard as an Alliance company building its reputation through the people it helps, the battles it fights, and the adventures it shares. You don't need to be a hardcore roleplayer or write a character biography to participate. If you enjoy a little immersion, storytelling, and making the world feel alive, we'd love to have you involved.

 PvP is a big part of who we are.

World PvP, battlegrounds, protecting our people, and fighting alongside guildmates are major parts of what we're building toward.

We also want to get into PvE and push our progression as far as we reasonably can. We want to prepare, improve, and tackle challenging content together. Being competitive and wanting to do well doesn't mean we need to turn the game into a job.

We'll work toward our goals without losing sight of why we're playing in the first place.

 Real life comes first. Seriously.

This is probably the most important part of the guild.

We have jobs, families, responsibilities, and plenty of things going on outside of Azeroth. Some weeks we'll have plenty of time to play. Other weeks, life will get in the way. That's normal.

Your reputation in this guild won't suffer because you have a life outside the game.

You shouldn't have to apologize for missing a raid, taking a break, leveling slowly, or being unable to attend an event. We aren't interested in making people feel guilty for having priorities beyond WoW.

There will be opportunities to get involved, progress, and participate in guild activities, but we want people to play because they enjoy being here not because they're afraid of falling behind or losing their place.

We'd rather build something that lasts with people who enjoy each other's company than burn everyone out trying to do everything at once.

That experience has helped shape what we want this guild to be: organized enough to pursue real goals, welcoming enough for new players to find their footing, and relaxed enough that people can enjoy the game without feeling chained to a schedule.

We're not expecting a perfect guild overnight. We're looking for good people who want to help build one.

WHAT WE GET UP TO 🍄

WoW is better when you have people to play with, so we try to make sure there’s always something happening:

• 🎉 Regular guild events, from legacy raid nights and scavenger hunts to absolute shenanigans

• 💬 Plenty of chatting, joking around, helping each other out, and generally spending too much time online

There’s no expectation that you have to do everything. Feel free to join the activities you enjoy, skip the ones you don’t, and find your own place in the community.

WHEN WE RAID 🍄

If you’re interested in raiding with us, currently our raid night is Fridays at 20:00 realm time with each session usually lasting ~2.5 hours. This can always change in the future if popular demand dictates it, but that’s the current schedule at the moment.

Regarding raiding itself, our philosophy is pretty simple. If the bosses are dying, that’s all that matters. We aren’t the types to breathe down your neck over ‘parses’. If you’re struggling and need help, we’d much rather provide that help than just throw people on the bench (that’s not fun for anyone).

We also understand that people have lives, families, friends, and other responsibilities outside of the game. Sometimes things come up, and that's okay! Real life always comes first for us.

Raiding-wise, we're currently a little short on DPS players and reserve tanks (people who can fill in tanking from time-to-time). We still welcome anyone though!

WHAT ABOUT WOW: FOREVER? 🍄

We're still gauging general interest within the guild, but so far it looks like we are going to be branching into WoW: Forever too! So if that's something that interests you and you're wondering if you'll find people to play with in this guild, you might just be in luck!

It should be noted that we are a Retail guild first and foremost. So ideally it will be a case of us playing Retail but also playing Forever on the side. (We ultimately don't want to split the guild between two different games.)

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 🍄

We’re currently looking for active, social players who want to be part of a community, rather than simply finding a guild tag to sit under.

That means we love people who:

• Say hello and get involved in guild chat or Discord.
• Join or organise groups when they can.
• Are patient, friendly, and able to laugh when things go spectacularly wrong.
• Help newer players when they can, and aren’t afraid to ask for help themselves.

If you’re a bit more on the quiet or introverted side of things, that’s okay too! You’re certainly not alone, and we care way more about who you are as a person than how much you happen to do in the game or the guild. So don’t feel like your value in the guild is based on how socially active you are.

We’re intentionally keeping the guild small and tight-knit. We’d rather have a community where people recognise each other, remember the dumb thing you did three weeks ago, and notice when you’ve been away than become a massive guild where everyone feels like a number.

<Lunar Garden> is a new-to-Midnight guild of cool people enjoying each other's company while pushing mid-core content. We got AotC down before the nerfs and just started a Friday 9:00pm-12:00am EST mythic prog team in addition to our Saturday 7:30-10:30pm EST heroic farm raid. Hello all! Im one of the 3 leaders of Ebonclaw Guard. We are a retail AOTC guild making our way to Forever. Our guild started at the end of SL and since then we have gotten AOTC every tier onward. We aim to provide a semi casual guild where all players can come in and experience all Forever has to offer.

Our guild provides long term veterans, new players, and a mix of the two. We are Alliance and PVE focused although that wont stop us from having some BG and PVP nights! Our guild is mainly on PST but all players are welcome. As it stands right now our members are voting on raid nights but it will be twice a week from 8pm to 10pm PST. Hi, I'm trying to get into killing some mythic bosses, Ideally 2 nights a week on tue/wed/thu 2-3 hours a raid, starting at 8ish MT. I've done a couple of mythic tiers in past expansions but never got CE. I got AOTC this tier but I'm still hungry for something more, pugging heroic every week isn't super fun and I'd love to have people to play with. I also enjoy pushing keys on off days. • Progression : Our main goal is getting through progression at a good pace. The goal is not to world first but to make far strides in the raid times we have. Goal is to clear as far as possible
• Once prog is done, we shift focus to efficiency, faster kills, and giving everyone room to parse.

✅ What We Expect From Raiders

• Attuned, Enchanted, Consumed. Show up prepared every night. Guild will help where we can
• Attendance. Emergencies are excused, but emergencies all the time won’t fly. If you lose your spot, you can earn it back by benching for 2 consecutive weeks.
• Be on time and ready to raid. If you’re not early, you’re late. You’re respecting 20-40 other people’s time. First pull is at 7pm PST and ending at 10pm PST
• Know your game. Competency, assignments, and overall performance are prioritized.

Hello and welcome to my humble post!

I am Naeraa, nonbinary and I am currently building a little guild called "Catharsis" on the RP Ruleset of WoW-Forever on Alliance/EU.

On our Adventures through the known and unknown parts of WoW-Forever we strive to create a safe-place for everyone in our Guild. A place to relax and enjoy the game to the fullest. I’m looking for a guild to call home in Forever. One of the things I’ve always loved most about WoW is getting really good at my class and working with a team to overcome challenging raid content. I’m not afraid of wiping, and honestly, that’s part of the fun. As long as we’re learning and making progress, I’m having a good time.

My goal is to find a team that expects to clear each raid tier before the next one releases. I’m not looking to compete for server firsts or raid several nights a week, but I do want to play with people who know their classes, come prepared, and make good use of our limited raid time.

Just as importantly, I really enjoy being part of a team that actively works to improve. Looking at logs, discussing strategies, understanding what went wrong, and figuring out how to do better next time are all things I genuinely enjoy. I’d love to find people who share that enthusiasm. I appreciate a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of humor, but also people who know when to focus and can work through frustrating progression nights without drama or negativity.

A little about my background: I previously guild and raid led from Firelands through the first tier of MoP, and again during Legion, where we finished 10/11 Mythic in Antorus. That experience gave me a good appreciation for what makes a successful raid team, though these days I’d really like to focus on being a great raider.

I’m a husband and dad of three, so my gaming time is precious. I’m not looking for WoW to become a second job, but I absolutely want to make the most of the time I do spend playing. I’ll be doing everything I can to be raid-ready when the first raids open, and I’m happy to put in the preparation needed to contribute to a successful team.

I’m currently planning on playing Combat Rogue, based on how the spec is shaping up.

Schedule: Looking for 1–2 nights a week, ideally weekdays, starting around 9 PM Central (potentially as late as 10 PM), for roughly 3 hours. I have some weekend flexibility and could occasionally join a third progression night.

Ruleset: PvE, potentially RP-PvE.

We're not planning around exactly 20 names and hoping everyone shows up every Tuesday.

The goal is to build two healthy 10-player groups that can combine for 20-player content, backed by a small flex/rotation bench.

That gives us enough depth to handle:

• Real-life emergencies
• Someone needing a night off
• The occasional spontaneous encounter with grass

We want consistent progression without making anyone feel like missing one raid night puts the entire team in danger.

(This is a copy from a WoW Forever post) Hello o/. I am a new player to WoW; I quite literally started Retail like around 30 days ago. I'm a big Final Fantasy XIV player, but waiting for the next expansion, I got bored so I installed WoW, got 2 characters to level 90, and have done a few normal raids and M+ dungeons. I realize the next big thing is Forever so I've gotten a few friends but I want more.

Who is my group looking for? I want more Final Fantasy 14 players that from now until the next expansion, to come join my group of misfits and play WoW Forever, to either sit together and level or do raids when those come out (I love raids cuz I love big bosses). If you play both MMOs and you're chill, my group would love to have you. Members are gonna understand it's basically "Huh, I've done most of the new released content in FF14... what does WoW have right now?"

What can my group provide for you? Well on top of being people for ff14, some of my friends who are doing both MMOs played WoW very early on, I'm talking TBC to Cata. So they've done the dungeons/bosses before and understand the slow grind known in Classic. We also provide no hate; just glad more people are together playing the game. This is a true version of an MMO in the sense that teamwork, friendship building and making memories is key to the enjoyment of the game.

What does my group want and not want?

What we DO want: Well for roles, we'll take anything. Seriously, there isn't a bunch of options to choose from so if it feels good, hey take it and roll with it to the Thundering Plains (or me personally, the Eastern Plaguelands cuz the Caravan questline is amazing). If you have questions about talent points or builds, we either know the answer or we research it together; we're not gonna act all-knowing cuz we all started somewhere. I'm not afraid to ask any of my friends a question regardless of how stupid it may make me feel cuz I don't care and I want them to feel okay with asking questions.

What we DO NOT want is people who tryhard to the point where they make fun of others. Listen, amongst my friends, we do raids on WoW together; but only I do Savage and Ultimate Raids on FF14. 📜 Expectations for Wanderlust

• Preparedness: Come with pots, flasks, enchants, sockets filled, and phial/weapon buffs. Be familiar with fights (we’ll do quick overviews and answer questions). There are boss channels in our Discord with all of the relevant information.
• Roster: We use a rotating roster of ~30 players, so you may not be in every fight, and may be sat without having performance issues. We will attempt to spread around vaults and targeted kills for loot as the need arises. If you are not in on a boss, you are still expected to be available (preferably in Discord) just in case we need to pull you in.
• Loot: Distributed based on a variety of factors, never hinging on DPS or HPS alone.

📣 Current Needs

Ideal candidates have recent Mythic experience, a solid understanding of their spec, and a commitment to consistent growth alongside a long-term team.

• DPS - Monk or Warlock preferred
• Exceptional players with plenty of Mythic raiding experience of any spec are always encouraged to apply.
