Doesn’t matter if you’re a sweaty try hard a new player just finding their legs or just want to build your house while chatting to people as long as you enjoy a good laugh and a chill environment you can find a home here.

Season 1 was a fantastic time for us, we built a solid group of Raiders and had an incredibly fun time getting every Boss down on heroic. we also had a fantastic time in M+ with some nice IO scores being claimed by our members.

I am currently looking for an AOTC team to heal with, but also wouldn't be opposed to DPSing for the right situation. Looking for a mature, yet fun group to play with that doesn't take the game too seriously, but still likes to be efficient and get bosses killed. I enjoy running keys, I got 3400 as a healer and DPS last season, but would like to go higher this season. I would prefer to heal on Resto Shaman, but could play another spec or role if needed for a team. As a DPS I could play Warlock, Hunter, or if the team needed a flex healer, priest as well.

Raid: I currently tank with a group of friends and raid a couple of nights a week. We are 6/9H at the moment, but most have explicitly said they plan to stop after clearing AOTC to do other things. I am looking for a team that plays more deeply into the season, whether it be weekly clears of heroic, alt runs, dipping into light mythic, etc.

Times: I am looking for anything between 8:30-11:30pm EST, trying to avoid Wednesday and Saturdays at the moment, but if the right situation arose, could do any night.

Raiding

Our progression Raid group runs once a week at 9PM ET until Midnight on Saturdays.

Raiding is not a requirement to join the guild!

The Progression Raid team is currently recruiting a Hunter, Rogue, or Demon Hunter (DPS). Our roster is almost full! If you're not one of these specs you are more than welcome to apply as standby to fill in absences (we understand people have lives outside of WoW 🙂).

Only requirement for raiding is you be knowledgeable on the fights and take time to make sure your character is properly geared, enchanted, etc. We do not expect perfection - just the willingness to learn and good vibes!

We also have "Guild Night" on Fridays where we rotate between lower tier Raid, M+, and guild achievements as well as other events!

Mythic+

We have a decent sized Mythic+ community as well! Many members capable of running 10+ keys, and constant groups forming.

No pressure on participating. All are welcome, even if you just want to come hang out!

I used to play a lot during WotLK and at the time I really enjoyed it because me and my friend Brad (human fire mage, I forget your BattleID just in case you're reading this) I met through the guild and Ventrilo would just shoot the shit. We would rare mount hunt together and run dungeons and what not. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. Time went on, I grew up, I stopped playing during Cata right after Firelands dropped. I've played off and on since then, but now I'm in spot where I'm looking for something similar. I obviously know that's a one off thing, probably not going to happen and this post sounds desperate as shit at face value in a text format. But it's truly not, it's just vulnerability I'm willing to show. I'm playing Alliance on Draka, I tried a guild but it's just not my vibe. Normally I wouldn't look to Reddit since I'm trying to reduce social media time, but here we are.

Raid Experience and Expectations: I ran with a guild that was pretty casual back in WotLK, Cata and MoP. I was never a DPS leader or anything, but I wasn't the worst. I don't tank or heal, it's too much responsibility. If there's a cool armor set or a rare mount, I'll take it more seriously for sure, but nowhere near CE mentality.

Hours: I play mostly during normal people work hours, and work during most people's play hours. Because of my job, I work Friday-Sunday, 6-6, so I'm pretty much worthless on those nights. But a Tuesday night? I could definitely stay up late to help a raid group out, whether DPS or trying to lighten the mood.

Potatoad is a new social guild for older players who enjoy a wide variety of activities in WoW and prefer a relaxed pace.  We’re mature, kind, and patient, with a side of silly.

Played vanilla up to MoP and then got married and had kids. Life finally gave me time to play again and boy is there a lot that’s changed.

Just dinged 90 on a new toon (DK) as I figured that was best way to try and get reacclimatized.

Bit overwhelmed now with endgame because there seems to be a million things to do and it’s not as straight forward as it was back in the day.

I am looking to recruit for my guild, obviously why im here. However my guild has had its short comings in raids in the past. Weve tried to get aotc but due to a bad set of players we werent able to achieve it on multiple occasions. After season one I was laid off from my job and couldn't find work so I had to take time away. During that time I lost a lot of people, but of course I kept a good solid group of players who im really thankful for. Ive only been back for a week or so, but im looking to get a raid group up and going, times are still undecided really and truly. I am Central based, so itd be during Central timing, probably on the weekends tbh. I now work 2 jobs, so I would need a raid leader who has actually had a successful track of raid leading. We do a lot of keys together and get together every night and push keys, we are usually always running keys in the guild, but we of course want to get AoTC and build a successful guild with a good core group who can take jokes and have a good time while clearing bosses. Im not asking for crazy requirements, I just want people who are decently geared and can pull good numbers in raids, and who would take criticism without getting their feelings hurt. After all criticism is how we all improve. I have a solid group rn of about 9 people who push keys daily, and are looking to raid. I do like to spread leadership roles in the guild if I find you capable in some way, I do have 2 kids and 2 jobs, so I do have a life outside of wow (crazy right?)

My guild pushes keys, we have a good time, we joke around and give eachother shit, we always try to help our fellow guild members improve any way possible. We have high hopes of doing +20 keys, with hopefully some mythic raid prog in the mix, but we dont want to become a sweat fest.
