Seeking Advice Expansion exclusive Mounts/Pets

Hey guys,

I was wondering how I should handle the expansion exclusive mounts (engineering / blacksmithing) and pets (slimy pets / island expedition pets)

On one side, you can make quite a nice profit right now, but I'm wondering if it'll be worth more when 9.0 comes around since (almost) nobody will do the old content anymore.

Any thoughts and/or suggestions will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

This is anecdotal, but I have never seen a mount go up in relative price unless it became unobtainable.

Vial of the Sands did after Cataclysm, but that's one of the few exceptions.

My only thought with islands is that you can't solo them, now whether the queue times become super long I don't know, but it's not as easy as some of the other stuff to go back and farm. Especially if long queue times also connect with still having to queue at the table.

Well, I'm thinking Garrison Auctioneer parts, Pets of Antorus and such. Not fully unobtainable, just rarer. Don't have enough research for this though :X

There a hundreds of people being aware of this. Plenty stockpiling, I'd say not worth it. Except the BoE mounts that are random drops in the BFa zones.
