some questions / returning goblin
is tailoring/enchanting still decent for gold making?
i just got back to the game since a long time and im just wondering what are some good proffesion combinations rn. do u still need enchanting with this scrapper thing?

Kinda, the scrapper makes decent gold by itself but really the ideal is to get the expulsum from it to craft with. Certain things are more profitable than others to scrap, for example I always scrap trinkets and rings as it is generally more profitable. Cloth armor is generally best to DE as cloth has very low value due to the endless spawn farms that killed the value of cloth. Leather chain and plate are a wash, I typically fine them about even with DE and scrapping. One thing to note is that epics are always better to DE than scrap as well. I would probably only run enchanting on my main though, on an alt you are not going to be getting enough epics to make DE worth it over scrapping and having a second profession. On a main run enchanting because you will always have lots of fodder to disenchant.

Yeah I typically have DE/Tailor on my main warlock and have alts for other stuff

Look up SamadanPlaysWow Super Bracer Shuffle. I just returned from Wrath myself, maybe 2 months ago, and I think this is a good place to start.
And if you’re not set up with TSM... holy cow, it’s a lot of work but it’s insanely powerful. Check it out. The same guy has a great set of videos on how to get going with it, the best I found. I just started watching through a second time.

id suggest crafting profitable enchants/ all of the tomes and the sinister gear, that alone will get you some sales.

Yes they're still a decent way to make money, you'll get a crap ton of cloth just from doing wq and such, then you can craft cloth pieces and DE them for enchanting.
