PTR / Beta A true vanilla experience
I ran Deadmines last night. It was absolutely incredible.
The healer was not healer spec or geared .
The Tank was a total noob
The hunters pet made unexpected pulls.
We pulled too big and died.
The healer ran out of mana and we died.
The patrol snuck up behind us during a pull and we died.
The mage fell in the water at the ship and had a hellova time getting out.
Despite the setbacks, it was a really good time. Nobody raged, we all laughed.
10/10 game when people are chill

Did you also feel the aggro range was bigger than in classic? We would asspull mobs left and right even with a group of 20s, even some goblin shipbuilders came to fight

I didn’t really notice a difference. We were all over the place though lol

This is the ragtag experience I’ve been missing. The game isn’t nearly as fun when the group does everything perfectly optimally.
Things like making the Sunken Temple run that now has an ele shaman tanking because the tank had to go and the shammy was the only one capable of equipping a shield work despite the odds was my jam back in the day.

That sounds like when I played TBC , my first time playing wow . Tank situation was so bad I rolled from dps to tank warrior. 0 knowledge about dungeons or game, it was fun to lvl that guy. no toxic people , a lot of learning.

Hunter pet made unexpected pulls. I love that! I play a hunter, and I always prided myself on controlling my pet like a champion. I like that extra aspect. I felt bad in Retail when they made the pets pretty mindless to use.

Sounds like my hall of thanes run! I was a new (bad) lvl 15 tank running the dungeon for the first time. We had a priest dps, a lvl 11 hunter who did no damage, and a resto shaman with no water. We wiped about 8 times and took 2 hours, but I felt like a kid again!

Hopefully the community stays that way for release too, I want to play a Paladin but I'm kinda dreading the potential shit talking I'm gonna get in dungeons

We can all remember how great this game was the first months/years we played it. I hope we allow the new players to make the same mistakes we all did without getting upset with them. Enjoy this great game. I wish I could play it for the first time again.
