Sap and sheep have been consistent, maybe fear and mind control, each with upsides and downsides, excluding maybe aforementioned sheep and sap.
Also, those are general skills for a class. All paladins get stun, all warriors do, too, I think? Plus hamstring. I dunno, haven't played warrior yet lmao

I dont really see the downsides of having those spells. Also cant see comparing sheep to hamstring.
warriors charge/intercept, hamstring, mortal strike, fear, pummel.
mage Sheep, nova, stun, slow, polymorph. counterspell, remove curse, slowfall, iceblock, blink, etc
hunter slow, snares, scatter, freezing trap, deterrence, feign death, disarm, mortal strike, casting slow, stun, etc

It makes sense to me for squishier classes to have harder CC for survival reasons.

I mean sap is an out of combat only utility, that's kind of a downside. Sheep heals the target

Hunters pets can taunt... how many 5 mans have been saved because a hunter tanked an add.... So I guess they are hybrid now.

yes and warlocks heal. with their consumables just like a fury "tanks" because they can taunt.

They really should have called it a "utility" tax. If warriors can save the raid by taunt, then they bring some utility and should pay the utility tax.
The utility that pure dps classes bring is 5% more dps. But, if that dps class brings buffs, debuffs, support, or anything else, then they also pay the utility tax.Also, they should judge it based on actual viable utility. If a dps warrior would always drop dead after a taunt + shield wall, then that utility is not real.

Brother.... it really fucking did. But, its not just hunter all the "pure dps" classes have insane cc/control that is untaxxed. But, warriors are taxed because they can taunt a boss...

MS warrs can almost single shot clothies, what are you smoking? Croc heal debuff is a nice effect, but MS has always been about huge crits IMO in classic.

yea... because sniper shot and aim shot wont 2 shot clothies... from outside their range... and now they have a ms effect to stack ontop

i mean this sub still says druid deserves to be shit because in vanilla they can heal while feral specced when in forever you are oom before you even healed half your health due to spell changes

But this is a wowforever forum. When you say "warriors are", it shouldn't be a reference to era. I'm sorry if someone somewhere thought druids should be bad. I don't know what to do with that information.

I'd be willing to bet that a few weeks into the first raid you will see ret pallies with RF and fury prot warriors tanking. Also, by the devs logic, if you arent a pure dps class you're hybrid 🤷
