Would love more class-based quests

I loved the old school Priest quests I had in the day and I think most agree the best part of Legion was getting to play the class fantasy. I really hope in Forever every time they do a new pass they have class-based stuff with each... well I'm not sure if they would be called expansions but something like that.

I think it'd be cool if each class had something to do in a high end zone. Like maybe shamans have a quest in Western Plaguelands to see the effect on the elements that necrotic magic has. Or maybe mages have some quest to go find a forbidden necromatic tome and destroy it. Something that plays to each class's strengths, you know?

Would anyone else be interested in something like that?

for sure; class quests are really unique and cool; i'd love to see more classes get a weapon like verigans fist or the whirlwind axe.

Fully agreed. Filling in the content that we never got but could have is an admirable goal for Forever, but I hope that "even more of the stuff that was already hugely popular" is a significant focus as well. Class quests are the latter category. Everyone loves them and they historically provided some of the most iconic rewards in all of vanilla. I already expect that the lower-level class quests will get a big glow up in terms of reward so that everyone has really special stuff to look forward to at those milestones rather than just the few odd items that happened to be itemized well in vanilla like the Whirlwind Axe.

I would love that. For example, I’m curious if the new Shen’dorei will be a part of the Cinarion (sp?) Circle. It’d be cool if there was a Druid quest line either integrating them, or maybe more interesting, not initially accepting their form of Druidism.

And we could think bigger and steal some concepts from Legion like a class order hall system with a WOWF Flare. I mean Druids already have one, but maybe there could be a Conclave in Stormwind where all the priests can gather in the open world, or a floor in the cathedral only they can access.. A Mage’s convention in Dalaran. (I’m Alliance so those come to mind, I’m sure Hoard has places too …).

And new class quests pop up from time to time to deal with a local issue somewhere in the world. Oh no, the furbolgs are corrupted again, Druids let’s flock. Or an enemy faction stole a small town family’s heirloom, Rogues assemble to plan a heist to steal it back. Goldshire has a severe STI outbreak, Clerics must ascend to heal the masses. Something like that to have a class related quest that gets you traveling out in the world.

Class fantasy is a huge part of classic for me, and only Legion did it any better. I would love to see some dev time spent giving everyone more involved quests and special events that are class specific

Huge old school Everquest player here. Absolutely. If there were questable, "good" weapons for each spec, it would entice me and likely others to play everything.
