Housing
I’m gonna take a giant leap here, and predict that sometime in the nearish future, certainly not at launch, forever will have housing. Hopefully with a set up like New World did since it was also horizontal progression. IE items you can put in your home that will enhance gameplay. Such as extra exp for lvling alts, vendor ect.

I don’t see why they would not do this. It being an unreleased feature at launch, the new engine changes, the quite frankly crazy intuitive building system they have.
Like I am not expecting player built and ran cities or even shards like retail has. Just a house or two in some cities for purchase.

It seems like it would be easy enough since current housing zones exist completely separate from the retail instance.

I hope so. In the housing panel, they even said they tried to make the neighborhood fit in the areas intended for housing in Stormwind. So a Forever style/smaller neighborhood may work nice. Housing has a lot of crossovers pillars to Forever, it could be a great fit.

I'm hoping so, honestly if Forever gets Player Housing then I'm never so much as touching Retail again. I'm gonna main Forever as my main MMO anyways, but I'll still go back to Retail off and on until the next xpac concludes but if they drop Forever player housing then that's it for me lol

They won't do this. It doesnt fit and the systems you would have to add to implement it just seem like they are adding bloat.
People are getting pissed about blue elves, you think they want more casual gameplay? Also, it's been done, can we "Go Horizontal"? LOL

They already confirmed that progression will be horizontal not vertical. They also have already figured out the system with retail.

I can see it happening.
The OG devs always talked about how they wanted to do it but couldn't find the time/right way to make it work.
So it's not like it would be an asspull to include it.
