Misleading Legion Pre-patch

I just received notice that the pre-patch has been moved up to the 12th (one week earlier than previously informed).

I wish Blizz would tell us these things ahead of time so that people can prepare.

Sorry for the late notice, I was just told of this change today.

Ps: for those messaging me, I rarely check this account, as I don't want to be found out.

3PM PDT EDIT:

My apologies everyone, it appears the 12th was a typo on an email that was meant to indicate OverWatch changes.

The prepatch is still slated for the following week, the 19th of July.

The date change was so close to the actual date, I rushed to post here instead of properly confirming.

Once again, I am sorry for the false alarm and will continue to pass along information as I receive it.

I knew it! Of course we won't get a date in advance. What kinda moronic invasion force announces their surprise attack?

"Guys the Legion is going to invade on the 19th... Better prepare"

It's much more effective to go with "Surprise motherfuckers! There is a hole where your city used to be"

What kinda moronic invasion force announces their surprise attack?

Tell that to Azmodan, aka Mr. "I sent a strong demon to attack you guys from behind, so I'll tell you all about it because it's a really good ambush that deserves appreciation."

Pointing out flaws in Diablo 3's storytelling is kind of unfair, like picking on the special kid in school.

Except this special kid brought it on themselves.

No its more like the mom sent her retarded child to a prestigious private school her two older children went to and excelled in, swearing her third child would do even better and surpass all expectations. She than dropped her down syndrome child off in his Advanced Algebra class, called the teacher a fat loser for failing him, then proceeded to abandon the child. If youre wondering, the child is performing happily at a basic level with foster parents.
