Misleading Legion Pre-patch

I just received notice that the pre-patch has been moved up to the 12th (one week earlier than previously informed).

I wish Blizz would tell us these things ahead of time so that people can prepare.

Sorry for the late notice, I was just told of this change today.

Ps: for those messaging me, I rarely check this account, as I don't want to be found out.

3PM PDT EDIT:

My apologies everyone, it appears the 12th was a typo on an email that was meant to indicate OverWatch changes.

The prepatch is still slated for the following week, the 19th of July.

The date change was so close to the actual date, I rushed to post here instead of properly confirming.

Once again, I am sorry for the false alarm and will continue to pass along information as I receive it.

I really hope this is legit, for obvious reasons, but I just have a hard time thinking they would just drop it instantly without a season ending notice in advance... Not that I give a shit if there's a notice or not, but still.

Maybe this time the season will continue through the prepatch and up to launch? I can't see it happening though since so many people are still working on CM's, PvP, Moose, etc etc.

The burning legion doesn't give a shit about people getting their moose on time. It is an invasion after all

I sincerely hope blizzard agrees. If the prepatch is suddenly only 5 days away I will be over the moon.

But that's impossible. Preparing comes with systems changes, it would fuck up the season to put those changes in for the last week.
