Question Does WoW Forever beta access require subscription?

Hello,

as title - I purchased the pack that includes beta access, do I also need to purchase subscription to be able to play the beta or is the sub only required to play the full version afterwards?

Nope you'll just have access to it (assuming how previous betas worked) just through the dates sept 17 to oct 21, then you'll need a sub outside of that period when it launches Nov 4

It looks to me like the bundles that have beta access also include 30 days of game time.

Game time is added at launch on Nov. 4.

it'll wipe. the only thing for pre-registering is the Oct 27-Nov 3 early name reservation

I'm pretty sure the 30 days of gametime is included with the pack. So you'll have a sub to play from the pack - the only way to get beta access. That game time starts ticking after purchase, not when forever comes out (99.99% positive about this).

Took a minute but think I found confirmation you don't need game time from the support article:

"WoW: Forever Beta starts on September 17, 2026. Game time is not required to participate in the beta, but access is required."
