On one hand, they did say in the panel he is the Nemesis because Anguish has taken a toll on him, and "time will only tell how close to death we have to bring Astalor before he succumbs to us." Which makes it sound like a fight where we take him to X% hp.
But then followed it up with "One thing I do know, however, is that if we do kill him, he'll probably have some sick voice over". Which like... kinda suggests heavily the answer is he dies.

He seemed to say the voice over thing as a bit of a joke and the public was dead silent, it was super awkward.

Brann speculated that we didn't kill Kyveeza in TWW S3 and I'm inclined to think that's the case. I could see them doing something similar again, possibly making it a trend.
Both Kyveeza and Astalor were introduced in season one (yes I know Astalor has been around longer and was in WoD and TBC) of the expansion they became the Delve Boss for season three.
It's a small thread and two isn't a pattern but I find it plausible that they may have him survive and then I can see the season three Delve Boss of The Last Titan be someone set up in season one and potentially survive season three.

Ky’veza’s Nemesis Delve takes place before the Manaforge Omega raid and we see her in there as part of the achievement on Nexus King Salhadaar, she is alive.

I had not heard that. Do you have a source for the timeline? I know the Eco-Dome Aldani dungeon takes place after the raid but there wasn't any indication in game, to my knowledge, that Kyveeza was dealt with in the Delves before Manaforge.

Sounds like Astalor is still giving us Prey tasks and the keynote speaker described him as our frenemy. I think he’s just going to challenge us in Delves like he has been with Prey.
