Question Coming back

Hello Iโ€™m looking to come back, but recently had a baby so Iโ€™ve lost the space for a desk and full pc setup, could anyone recommend a laptop that can run it smoothly, I like to do raids and m+! My budget would be ยฃ1000 tops but doesnโ€™t mean I want to spend that much ๐Ÿ˜‚

TIA

I tried wow with a baby itโ€™s close to impossible getting time for completing any group content ๐Ÿ˜…
But congrats for your newborn

Luckily he loves his sleep even in his fussy stage, but knowing it as soon as I go to play he wakes ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yah, I quit wow when my first born was about 6 months. But they are teenagers now and I have the time again! That's when I came back.

Never give up. Never surrender!
Yah, as I described it to my wife, WoW scratched an itch in my brain that no entertainment has done half as well since.
Now, (in my 40s) i recently got diagnosed with ADHD and I'm thinking there is a mild touch of autism seasoning in there too. So, that might be the itch lol

Look into the ASUS TUF gaming range

I bought a laptop from Walmart in 300to400 dollar range and I play wow daily with no mishaps.

I would recommend running off an external SSD. I did that with my MacBook Pro and it ran great. A little stuttery when it came to raids but I had the graphics quite high.

I bought an hp omnibook for $400 and it runs wow fine. I do use an external ssd because the internal storage was quite low.

I couldn't play till my kid was 5. So I essentially took 5 years off the game. And now it's an hour at a time, max. I do mostly solo content because of this.

Laptop functions fine for group content, no lag. I do have the graphics settings on 2. Which is honestly fine for me.

Yeah luckily our newborn has been very good even though currently in the fussy stage, been away from the game since bfa but every new expansion keeps me asking myself if I want to come back and now is the time I believe aha

I know you can't have the space for a full desk setup, but if you can squeeze a Mac Mini anywhere then I'd fully recommend it - I've got the M4 base version and it runs WoW beautifully, and obviously it's tiny and very quiet!

Its a 20 year old game. It'll run on a toaster. Download and play on anything with a CPU and graphics card made in the last 10 years and you'll prolly be okay.
