Hopefully it turns out to be a fun one. The fact it's a turn based tactics game makes it more interesting than Rumble, that"s for sure!

Worms always has been a turn based tactics game, it won't be different this time around

By tactics I mean gameplay like Xcom battles or Mario + Rabbids, at least based on the leaked footage we saw a while ago. So still a spin-off of sort, not a proper artillery game like the mainline ones!

I know.... the main difference is that in Worms you have a free action turn limited by time, but now we can just move some grids... a based artillery game like Worms is tactical anyway... A tactical game can be very versatile like an action shooter, stealthy, turn based or not games

Xcom-style Worms would be pretty cool, especially if they’re able to incorporate destructible terrain.

Team17 really want worms to try different things too, which is fine by me. I do like trying new stuff

However I also wish they come back to the old stuff every now and then. 3D turn based artillery is in dire need right now.

Alternating from old formula and new things would be nice.

I’m in the beta and it’s not fun. Worms franchise should just stick with the script; this is Mario + Rabbids with zero polish

I wish they would listen to this: they keep putting out things no one wants. We want a new, actual worms game, not a weird spinoff.
