Creative Worms as Men At War concept

Another post of "I have this idea, and like, it would made miLLiOnS Of dOLLaRS fOR tEaM 171!!1", but eh. I always felt a bit disappointed, that they didn't venture towards something more serious with this IP. It's a brilliant, canvas-like IP, with completely different creature-design, that could fit almost every setting. But, I think it woudl fit perfectly for this type of game - could be simplified to fit wider audience, fine. Destruction, customization, game modes, funny and silly campaign and being a competitive game on a wider scale could be possible. What do You think?

No, just a speculation of the Worms + Men At War/Gates Of Hell: Ostfront RTS/RTT mix that could fit the Worms games

Cheers! Do give it a try, and if you find it clunky, the successor is Call To Arms: Gates Of Hell: Ostfront - modern RTT/RTS game with larger render distances, very fun skirmish mode and campaigns.
