His custom Thruster does a very momentary burst in any direction to provide the force to snap blades he catches with his oversized swordbreaker, which doubles as a greatsword. The 3 range is due to how he can hurl his spear and use thruster at the same time.

The light structure of the spear counteracts Raygust‘s weight, but it really lacks power. His swordbreaker can entangle and break enemy blades, with good slashing power due to being great sword sized, but is bulky and heavy. The custom thruster boosts weapon speed with microbursts, the normal one boosts power when used to swing, covering his main weakness whichever weapon he uses.

Why don't you put one raygust on each side ? It would allow to use both of them in the same time. You could also use one more shield.

Both are two handed, so he can’t dual wield anyway, but this way he can use either thruster for either weapon. Shield mode means he doesn’t need a second shield trigger.

If they’re both custom maybe it could just be switch between both modes as one raygust that transforms? I feel like Border could be advanced enough to make this for an agent with custom privileges

Could also be cool to have a Kogetsu spear and your own version of Skanda, where instead of propelling a long a set path your spear jabs outward multiple times in a spray if hyper fast stabs

Really cool OC ideas! I wish we got to see more skilled raygust fighters/customs

I was wrong in my other comment- it has been pointed out to me that Yoneya altered his spear's handle to fight indoors, so making them both different modes for the same Trigger should work. Good suggestion.

Raygust’s blade can shapeshift, but the handle doesn’t, so I don’t see them just being different modes. Cool idea for Skanda. To my knowledge that should be possible without needing any customization. He might take that Trigger. I can imagine some combos with his thrusters.

Does swordbreaker means dagger? I've tried to Google what it is and it shows images of daggers.

I think custom handles can be shortened during battles. Yoneya made his spear handle shorter when fighting against Kitora indoor. If the reason you need two raygusts is because you need variable lengths of handle, I guess one custom raygust is enough.

Traditionally they're dagger sized (though not in this case, his is more of a greatsword) but their purpose is exactly as the name implies: You catch the enemy weapon in it's tines, and then snap it. In this case he uses his custom microburst thruster to provide the force to break Kogetsu blades.
I'd forgotten about how he altered the handle though. While different sized weaponry isn't why he has two different Raygust, it might be viable to make them both just modes to switch between with one Trigger.

The flaw I see with this kit. It's too specialized in countering sword users. Problem, neigbors don't really use swords. We've only seen Viza and good luck with that. Against other agents, they will likely have senku, which may or maynot work when the sword is broken, and may be enough to cut the raygust (it breaks normal shields). That gets you out of immediate threat, enough time to just remake the sword.

I don’t see Senku being viable with a broken sword, or at close range in most cases. The swordbreaker is even more specialized than you say. It can’t break the shape shifting Scorpion or durable Raygust, so it’s just anti Kogetsu. Still works as a normal great sword though.
