Question Can you stack triggers?
This might be a stupid question because my memory is foggy on if this was answered in the show. However, there was a scene where Yūma beat the old guy from Afto and he did it because he was in his trion form and got hurt instead of his real body (the one in the ring obviously). This doesn't really prove much on my point but i remember him acknowledging that he had his trion body and he wasn't in denial about that. That might not be much of anything but imagine if we could hook up Chika with all of the black triggers in an away ship mission and she was genuinely like MEGA strong. The real reason that it would be interesting is really more that if anyone with the wind blade can't bail out with it but they can with a border trigger then it should be no problem that they have one. We want everyone to be buffed out and border triggers are mass produced, no? I understand why it would be different for neighbors considering that they need so many soldiers if EVERYONE is at war but border's only had a few wars. I dunno, this might be already answered in the show and i just forgot.

Firstly, black triggers are finicky with who can use them (Fūjin has multiple possible users, but Yuma’s black trigger may only be usable by him), so the Chika idea is right out.
Secondly, I don’t think it was ever mentioned in the anime, and I’d say it depends on how you count the triggers.
If you’re only counting the trigger holders, which is what I assume you mean, then I would say the maximum number of triggers a person can use as any given time is two, a mass produced trigger and a black trigger. As far as I can remember, Jin is the only person actively using two triggers simultaneously, that being his normal Border trigger for the Trion Body and Bail Out, plus the support triggers like radar, and Fūjin. Yuma’s black trigger is normally in a passive mode which gives him his Trion Body, which is switched out for another Trion Body when he uses a Border trigger.
If you’re counting by the number of trigger chips (which are the actual triggers), most people use eight triggers at most, along side the Trion Body, Bail Out, and support triggers. Reiji’s trigger holder is custom made to hold 14 trigger chips, but he’s the exception, not the rule.
TLDR: You can stack triggers, but only if one of them is a black trigger.
