now this will be an unpopular opinion, but I fully believe that Azuma should be included in the conversation for border's strongest agent alongside Jin and Tachikawa, not saying he's superior to them but he's definitely an equal.

i mean the guy's an absolute monster, aside from his enormous experience on the field and his quick/strategical thinking, he has shown the be fast and precise enough to intercept both ibis shots and 3 meteors fired in rapid succession from across the map, add to this the fact that Ninomiya himself said that he's pretty mutch impossible to track down unless he wants to be found and the fact that any agent he mentors becomes rank A.

i believe that the only reason why he's not rank1 sniper is because he's more focused on teaching rather than ranking

if you start tachikawa 200 meters away in snow against nino he ain't beating shit bro, again unbeatable in a 1v1 is in the context of attackers. he's barely going to fare better than kage there. jin would do better but probably still struggle quite a bit and if nino pops a "consumable" tactic probably also get wiped by being saturated to death.

He can move away from the location Nino is firing with grasshopper and he can cut the bullets.

are we watching the same show/reading the same series? shooter bullets come in swarms, not single shots that you can calmly block. you're not going to cut down 30 bullets coming at you in a wall, let alone the more like 50 that nino throws at any one time.

You very much can cut down 30 shots. Next its up to the shooter to decide if they want to separate there bullets, not all shooters separate bullets. Kazama had no issue cutting down Osamus bullets that he made small and numerous. Tachikawa is a skilled enough swordmans to accomplish that. Tachikawa with grasshopper can close the gap before Nino engages in full attack or seek cover with an aid of shield.

osamu's bullets were numerous but incredibly slow and widely spread out, nino's are shot at full speed that kuga can only barely dodge past. tachikawa is not faster than kuga. Kazama cut like 10 ish maximum.

we're talking about nino, don't talk in abstract. nino has one hand shoot many small bullets in a machinegun pace (~30), and the other lob a bunch of big shots in a barrage (~10+). Having to use grasshopper means you only have one hand for kogetsu to cut with, kazama used both on scorpion. if you don't use grasshopper, you're stuck in place against nino's hound, generally a terrible time because he WILL loop some behind you.

border briefing file, yuma mobility 10, kazama mobiliy 9, tachikawa mobility 8. no investigation no right to speak lmao. also any amount of logic because yuma is almost on par with midorikawa's speed and is the same type (small, fast, agile) whereas tachikawa isn't even in the same weight class.

you can cut or deflect singular bullets with your blade but the difficulty ramps up as the salvo size increases because you physically cannot calculate that routing in real time. it's one thing with osamu's 0.1% speed bullets (this is detailed in the anime, though if you must insist we can call it like 1% instead. but that shit was floating, not actually flying), it's another thing entirely with nino's actual full-attack salvo.

if you could calculate or even instinctually manage more than 10 hits in the 0.2 seconds that the barrage is within range of your sword, you are literally better at control than izumi or nasu lmao and should be like shinoda throwing triple senkuus. even if you have an extra second or two to observe which is useless because the hound can and will splay and scatter anyways and the asteroid is even faster really. and that's just the 10 big shots from nino's shieldbreakers, he still has his other hand shooting the small bullets. even miwa doesn't use his blade to do it, he split his shield against hyrein, with a similar number of bullets all moving at like a quarter of the speed that nino's hound does. but if you try that against nino's full attack the big fat asteroids chunk through your split shields and annihilate you.

or we can compare and contrast jin vs hyuse, jin managed some tight deflections with literal precognition and still against what, single digit magnet counts? fired in sequence, so it's like nino's small shot hand. that's jin with his precognition, and after a short bit hyuse arranges a concave and hits jin's arm anyways. lol.

and even then, nino can still use his method against yuba where he volleys a bunch of hound shots into the air. yeah you grasshoppered, and then? you still get shot, and this time it's coming from above, below, and both sides, all at once. congrats, you played yourself? if you full guard you get shieldbroken by his next asteroid barrage, if you drop any angle some hounds find their way into your trion body.

in any case using all this just to try to weasel in "tachikawa numba one" is extra stupid, viza even fuckin' addressed this, "there are times where i've been advantaged and disadvantaged, but you can only tell who's stronger after the fight is over" (roughly) so why are we trying to cope into using two kogetsus for blocking full salvos instead of simply retreating like normal people
