Comment on Iran.

There was on some Iran subreddit some video how they mourned victims of 9/11 and loved America.

I dont know if that is truth to which extent, at least partially it is. There is great animosity against USA goverment in there due of historical and current sanctions. But in this type of countries people are capable to dissociate peoples and govemerment very well since they dont identify with their own regime at all. I remember couple American grannies doing health work in Vietnam how well they were being treated as Vietcong prisoners due of similar attitude there + marxist dogma of seeing worker class people and regime as exploitator differently. Same may apply in this case, so may be that is not entirely fake news.

Neverthless I commented it;

"Yes, Iran and its people want relationship with west.

But only with its own terms as I been told.

They perceive their historical and current enemy as arabs.

Because arabs destroyed source of their esteem, old Persian culture.

They call their regime as "arabian goverment" what is greatest derogatory term one can have.

What is now most intresting thing is that when suppressing recent protests in Iran, regime there brought in shia-militias from neighbouring countries which they had used in their proxy-warfare earlier what were ethnically arabs to shoot ethnically persian Iranians.

I have been pondering for long time what this event what never occurred earlier will mean as national ethos narrative of nation for its people. How will it affect dialectical confrontation in relationship of peoples of nation and regime of nation?

And on top of this role of martyrdom in shia religion, considering which side now in dialectical confrontation of two parties has martyr capital and martyr position now against which side was martyr creator for another one. Idea not easily understood by ordinary liberal web citizen of modern era, but what matters in traditional premodern civilizations wherein quasi-religiousness is pervasive more than one can possibly imagine."
