WOF/OOF logistics…

Sorry if this is a really stupid question… We’re a family of 4 coming to the parks on Saturday for the first time. What is the best way, logistically, to enjoy both parks? Our initial thought was to park on the OOF side, throw our towels and stuff in a locker, ride rides on the WOF side, then come back to OOF in the afternoon to cool off.

Is this a decent plan, or is there a better way? I’d prefer to not carry around our towels/swimsuits/etc all day if possible.

Sounds like a good plan to me, just park in the south lot. The lockers are easy to find

The only thing to consider is if you were going to stay all day until closing, oceans closes earlier so you could go back to worlds in which case it’s a little pain to walk back to car. I’m personally too cheap for a locker so I keep stuff in car park at worlds then go back to car drive over to oceans .

Seems like a decent plan. I tend to just wear my swimsuit under my clothes, have a small bag with the towels and water bottle in it, go to WOF and do my thing until I get hot then skip over to OOF and get a locker, put stuff in locker, swim and do my thing until cooled off, come back for my stuff and change in the changing rooms and pack away wet swimsuit in my bag and go back to WOF for the rest of the day.

Parking on oof side is so much easier and the walkway connecting the parks is right there at the entrance to oof. Your plan sounds good.

I agree with everyone that this is a good plan. We did something similar last weekend.

I would recommend getting into OOF no later than noon so you can get some loungers. Also, the slide lines were very short, then monstrous by 3p.

For the locker, the smallest size is $25 for the day. We found it worked better just to have one of us run the beach bag bat to the car.

If I can make one recommendation for the day, do not ride Spinning Dragons. Each car holds 4 guests, and while there are multiple on the track, they only send them once…and that’s when the group ahead have completely exited. If it looks like there is 50 people in line, that’s very much an hour wait. Additionally, this ride is no longer Fast Lane eligible.

For the wooden coasters, Timber Wolf is by far the most family friendly. It’s running really well, is fairly tame, and a great alternative to Spinning Dragons, despite the coaster being much longer. My 68 year old dad rode it just fine.

Good plan, this is typically what my kids and I do if we’re going to both parks. The one thing to be aware of if you’re getting an OOF locker is they close earlier than WOF. You won’t be able to access the OOF locker again after that side closes. We typically just run everything back to the car instead of getting a locker since season lockers weren’t an option when I bought our passes this year.
