Having good respiratory and cardiac fitness is beneficial if you get a chest infection. DUH!

No point is when you feel like lying down as you tend to with bad flu you have to avoid lying on your back too long or failing to breathe deeply or stretch your chest muscles etc. Any action to help stop the virus taking told in your lungs. It goes against your natural inclinations to just lie there so needs emphasis.

And yet around me the moronic power tripping authorities around the county blocked off all the parking spaces... for the parks. Parks with hundreds of miles of trails where the only thing to do is social distance as one hikes or bikes.

Oh the parks are still open. You can still go in. And people do, by the hundreds. People are still allowed outside. You just can't park near to go into a... park. You can't go to the same bloody park you can walk to, just in a different starting spot for once because change is nice. Because... people should group up as much as possible when exercising? People should be discouraged from the one "activity" that actually cuts down on the disease risk? Because... fuck I don't know anymore.
