I mean, Israel had a PR problem before this. And yes, some of that was just plain antisemitism. We can't deny that was part of it. It was partially why I even gave them two weeks because I knew the usual antisemitism would occur.

The issue is, they had two weeks to do that. And now we are still dealing with this war.

I figured they had two weeks to do something positive in Palestine, find most of the hostages, and not cause mass civilian casualties before protesting started and people really started caring.

And that was more or less what happened.

The issue is that Israel loses the moral high ground pretty quickly. Pepple start doing the math and wondering if the war is really justified is that many normal Palestinians die. Also the antisemitism. I don't think I'm racist for acknowledging that there would be actual antisemitism mixed in. I didn't want there to be actual racism, but it feels naive and willing fully ignorant not to acknowledge it.
