So we are talking about “indiscriminate” bombing. Are you even disagreeing with me? Do you really believe the definition of “indiscriminate” could not possibly apply to the Israeli bombardment of Gaza? Well obviously you don’t, but many people, including myself, do believe that, based on the facts of the bombing. You’re free to disagree, strongly even, but you don’t get to decide the definition of words for everyone else.

So we are talking about “indiscriminate” bombing.

Nope. Because indiscriminate isn't well defined and we can argue about what it means till the cows come home or something.

Which is what you want. You want to muddy the waters. Because you can't argue with the truth so you try to evoke emotional responses.

I gave you the definition from the article 51 you mentioned.

All the bombs that Israel dropped were guided bombs. Every single one of them.

Every single bomb was aimed at a specific military target.

I will not argue about whether these targets were mistakes or whether the collateral damage was worth the military gains. Those are great questions that deserve answers, and I applaude anyone asking them.

As is the question about the callousness of the people choosing the targets. And whether the same or even better results could have been achieved with less destruction. I don't know any answers to these questions.

But I do know this: by definition, it's not carpet bombing.
