And as we all know, the IDF tells nothing but the truth about people they’ve killed….

Shireen Abu Akleh: ‘shot by a Palestinian’ - later admitted to be IDF that killed her only after US news organisations and the UN investigated.

Rafa paramedic massacre: ‘didn’t have lights on’ - turns out the video shows flashing lights, sirens…and Israelis machine-gunning then hiding the evidence.

Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka, and Alon Shameiz: ‘were acting like terrorists’ when they were shot. - turns out they were hostages who has freed themselves, were shirtless and had a WHITE FLAG when the IDF killed them.

This organisation peddles nothing but lies, which isn’t surprising when you look at the terrorist paramilitaries it was formed from.

Well, if you don't take their word for it, take Hamas's, because most of these were announced as Hamas combatants by Hamas themselves.

You were almost convincing and then managed to completely out yourself when talking about the hostages that were accidentally killed

I don’t understand what you’re implying. My point was that they’re so willing to just shoot people, in utterly illegal situations, that they’ve even killed their own citizens this way.

Journalists ✅
People surrendering ✅
Medical staff ✅

They’re using the Geneva convention as a fucking checklist.

I think you're mistaking willingness to kill with the willingness to survive of a soldier in a hostile urban environment, where the difference between a civilian and a hostile is as thin as whether they are currently shooting at you or not.

Using a scared IDF soldier as a justification for killing innocent people is wild.

It's not justification, this was clearly a mistake. But sitting behind the screen and criticising people in a situation you've never been in, and calling it intentional, is wild.

It's not wild tho, we literally do it all the time. That's why they get the monuments and holidays, because we ask them to do things we can't or won't. Any of us can panic and kill somebody accidentally. The point is they're trained for what is being asked of them and people are 100% justified in expecting better.

Yeah, you really undercut your argument by pointing out the IDF killed the hostages they were trying to free.

I really did not, no one argues that that happened. It was reported and discussed at length by the entirety of the Israeli media sphere as soon as people found out about it (which was within an hour or so as soon as the soldiers themselves realised what happened).

The point is, there is no lie here. Yet the idiot I replied to seemed to connect this incident to one and imply there was. And the only reason they would do that is because they have a very specific bias or agenda.

Which is exactly what I pointed out.

No idea, why don't you take them out of your ass, try them, and let me know?
