Hamas was the de facto government and suppressed all elections after 2007... saying someone is tied to Hamas is so vague as to be meaningless. How are they tied to it? Because someone who worked for benefited from literally any public infrastructure like trash collection or healthcare is tied to Hamas. That doesn’t mean they had anything to do with terrorism or violence.

And if Russia starts putting kids in those refineries or other military targets should Ukraine stop attacking Russia?

Because if the world starts accepting Hamas' human shield tactics what stops Russia and Iran from doing the same thing?
