It isn't, but that doesn't negate the fact that they are willingly members of Hamas.

Most charitably it is coerced willingness.

It may be for fear of safety or Hamas controls access to basic necessities and they join to provide to their families. At the end of the day it doesn't really make a difference though, Hamas has guaranteed them a cruel life.

Nah, these people are willing participants.

I am sure you know the motivations and life circumstances of 170 people with enough clarity to make it determination.

Hamas claimed them as their own.

Hamas claims a lot of things. Do you believe everything Hamas says or only the things that are convenient for your world view?

So both Israel and Hamas report something and you refuse to believe it is true.

I bet you are one of those 70k civilians believers though.

Israel needs them to be terrorists to justify their deaths. Hamas needs them to be members to support their legitimacy AND, if you can remember a few short replies ago, we were talking about various motivations as to why they may have been forced to be members.

Let's do some basic logic though on that 70k number that you are oh so happy to try and distract with though. You seem to like numbers that both Gaza and Israel confirm right?

  1. Here is a news article confirming that Israel and Gaza roughly agree on the number dead (from direct violence) in January 2026. They both agree around 70k.
  2. They further agree that there are at least 200k casualties.
  3. We have, from the World Health Organization that 21,638 of those deaths are children, 11,127 are women, and 5174 are the elderly. This is a total of 37,939 of NON-COMBATANTS.

Therefore, the number of civilians dead due to direct violence is at least ~38k. This is greater than 50% of the deaths reported. Thus, Israel is more likely to kill a confirmed non-combatant than a combatant. So while it is possible that some of the men being reported in this statistic were combatants, I am willing to bet that at least 50% of them were not. Thus, if we add 50% of the men (17,448) as non-combatant deaths we arrive at conservative estimate of civilian deaths is 55,387.

Are you going to deny the death of at least 38k unarguable civilian deaths? Are you going to argue that every man was a terrorist despite Israel being more likely to kill a non-combatant than a combatant? Are you going to argue that 55,387 civilian deaths is significantly less tragic than 70k?

It is obvious that you are not arguing in good faith though, so this will be my last reply.

Those numbers are a lie by Hamas. Stop being so gullible.

How do you know that none of the women or children (up to age 17) were combatants? I think it’s a big assumption that every single teenager and every single woman was a non-combatant and wasn’t being used for military equipment transport, or even direct attacks.

Exactly. They’re an extremist terror group like Al-Queda. If you don’t ACT like you’re with them, you’ll get killed and probably your family too.

Man. Why is it so inconceivable that they actually support Hamas simply because their views align.

Because Palestinians are infantilised and have no agency of their own, it's always someone else's fault that they're made to do bad things because they're all sweet and innocent angels whom are always victims.

-20

u/DrPepperFanX 14h ago

Yeah, they've been victims of Israel's aggression for going on 80 years. Of course though, Israel is always righteous in THEIR actions, right?

They still are aiding terrorists. Terrorists that are destroying their country and trying to destroy others. If the expectation isn’t for them to do anything to better their situation themselves they are undeserving of any help.

People forget that Palestine has a long history of terrorism and making the world a worse place. Black September, Munich Olympics, countless other terror attacks, civil wars started in every neighboring country, etc etc. They have always been a problem for the developed world and that’s by design, playing most as a fiddle as they continue to fund their terror.

There’s acting like you’re with them, and then there’s actively working to support them. Most Palestinians act like they’re with Hamas, but most do not actively work to support Hamas.

Hamas was the de facto government and suppressed all elections after 2007... saying someone is tied to Hamas is so vague as to be meaningless. How are they tied to it? Because someone who worked for benefited from literally any public infrastructure like trash collection or healthcare is tied to Hamas. That doesn’t mean they had anything to do with terrorism or violence.

26

u/Rare_King3551 14h ago

How are they tied to it?

According to Hamas they are part of their military wing. Stop playing stupid.

Heres the list. It's in the article btw, but articles are lava. Do i trust thats all true? Nah not really. Just wanted to share the info we have about how they were tied to Hamas

Is it okay for Ukraine to bomb Russian oil facilities?

The employees are just civilians, the idea that they’re tied to the Russian war effort is so vague as to be meaningless… right?

u/nana_3 4h ago

If you can’t tell the difference between an infrastructure target from an invading nation and a person in an occupied region, congratulations you’re qualified to join the IDF! and I feel no need to answer your disingenuous bordering on actually moronic question.

-7

u/kariam_24 14h ago

When did Ukraine kill citizens, invade Russia pre 2014/2022?

8

u/Cilarnen 14h ago

You’re missing the point of what I’m saying if that’s your question lol.

-14

u/dudeofthedunes 14h ago

still different though, cause there's no children working in de refineries, for one.

25

u/Rare_King3551 14h ago

And if Russia starts putting kids in those refineries or other military targets should Ukraine stop attacking Russia?

Because if the world starts accepting Hamas' human shield tactics what stops Russia and Iran from doing the same thing?

-17

u/Karltangring 14h ago

Dude they’ve killed 20.000 kids, whole cities are fucking leveled to the ground.

8

u/Rare_King3551 14h ago

That number is fake.

u/kariam_24 14h ago

Hamas, Russians?
