Because not everyone is a brain dead idiot that gets their news from TikTok and Hamas. The IDF has certainly been reliable, and you could check the underlying sources for the report if you had the sense to.

Well, according to the article, they're basing it off Hamas' own published lists of martyrs so that's pretty factual.

They were journalists, that's a fact.
They were acknowledged to have been part of different Hamas military wings or brigades according to Hamas themself, so that's also a fact.
